We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the financial partnerships of the amazing business community! We are thankful for our partners who share our vision that we can provide events that have a family atmosphere and celebrate the best in our community like Independence Day and Christmas. 

Helping Cookeville thrive now and forever as a vibrant community, Better Cookeville builds, connects, promotes and distributes resources and knowledge by supporting local organizations, events, partnerships and initiatives for the common good and to enhance the quality of life of our citizens. 

To fulfill this mission, we are committed to:

* Serving Cookeville and surrounding areas with creative and visionary action that address the evolving needs in both community and economic development. 

* Helping Cookeville grow and thrive by being devoted to preserving our communities traditions, values, appearance, customs and festivals while maintaining and promoting quality of life. 

* Devoting special emphasis to programs that enrich the community in the following distinct areas: family events, arts and culture, education, health and human services, and civic affairs. 

* Demonstrating community leadership by designing & supporting innovative programs and acting as a catalyst in advocacy, identifying problems and sharing information with other stakeholders.

* Marketing and promoting our partner businesses and organizations, as well as, our City, County and Region as a destination.
